Mansoor joined the bar in 1995. He started legal practice with the chamber of Senior Advocate at Supreme Court of India before joining a Tier 1 law firm, where he reached the level of Equity Partner.
Mansoor’s focus area is regulatory and disputes within Energy, Telecom, Media and Technology (TMT), Aviation and Infrastructure sectors. He has extensively advises power and telecom companies on diverse policy, regulatory and legal issues. Within regulatory & policy, he advises clients on entire spectrum of tariff, licensing, regulations, and competition issues. He also advises on data protection & privacy laws.
Mansoor also specializes in commercial, civil, regulatory and constitutional dispute resolution in diverse fora including the Supreme Court of India, High Courts of various states, District Courts, Arbitral Tribunals, Conciliation Boards and other ADR mechanisms. Mansoor regularly appears before Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT), Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL), State Electricity Regulatory Commissions, Competition Commission of India (CCI), Competition Appellate Tribunal (Compat), National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) et al
